A limited number of Online Āyurvedic Consultations are available with our Master of Arts - Āyurveda Student Externs at a reduced rate. Online Consultations are supervised by experienced MMI faculty practitioners.

Online Consultation Includes:

  • Detailed medical history taking to get a clear idea of the causative factors involved.
  • Focused Āyurvedic evaluation of physical attributes such as tongue, eyes, skin.
  • Evaluation of Āyurvedic Mind-Body Type (Prakruti) and imbalances (Vikruti).
  • Āyurvedic Health Plan may include Diet, Health Routine, Herbs, Yoga & Meditation.

*Mount Madonna Institute uses Zoom Health, a HIPPA compliant platform for all consults.

Jen Rand

Jen Rand

Jen became interested in Ayurveda while becoming a yoga teacher at Mount Madonna and has been deeply immersed in study ever since. She became a NAMA certified health counselor in 2018 and is now in the process of earning her masters in Ayurveda. With a background in teaching, Jen listens carefully to clients' concerns and educates them on fundamental Ayurvedic concepts and how to adopt diet, lifestyle, herbal, and yoga recommendations to bring about balance and healing.

Kala Venkateswaran

Kala Venkateswaran

Kala is a NAMA certified Āyurvedic practitioner who grew up in southern India where some of the Āyurvedic principles are part of daily routines. Even in her childhood she always gravitated towards Āyurvedic herbs over chemical drugs. She strongly believes that health is a dynamic process and healthcare should be a multi pronged approach using herbs, diet, lifestyle, yoga and Āyurveda. She is very keen in sharing her knowledge of Āyurveda with people so that they are empowered to listen to their body and mind for management of health. Kala holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from India, and works as an IT manager in the financial services industry. She practices asanas, pranayama, meditation and Āyurveda for her health.

​Kopali Serna

Kopali is an Ayurvedic practitioner, Classical Ashtanga Yoga Instructor, and Master of Arts in Ayurveda (c.) at Mount Madonna Institute. She is also an indigenous ceremony leader and brings the wisdom of indigenous cosmology into her practice of Ayurveda. For over 20 years, Kopali has studied and practiced traditional medicine and herbalism. She has certifications in various TCM bodywork modalities and studied traditional healing in her ancestral Mexico, including plant medicine and Mesoamerican bodywork. She has a private practice in Takelma territory (Ashland, Oregon) where she enjoys living with her husband and four-leggeds.
