Ayurvedic Health Counselor (AHC) Program

The MMI Ayurvedic Health Counselor Program is a twelve-month program consisting of successful completion of the Ayurveda Educator curriculum followed by 200 hours of in-person Practicum. In the six months of the AE modules students experience interactive lectures, yoga (asana, pranayama & meditation) classes, clinical observations, and integration sessions. During the remaining six months, Ayurvedic Health Counselor students continue their studies with two 10-day in-person practicums where they will apply theory to practice through a variety of hands-on learning experiences in Ayurvedic Diagnosis, Nutrition, Herbology, Lifestyle Practices, Yoga, Chanting/Sanskrit, Ayurvedic Therapies, Jyotish, Professional Practices, Case Study and Client Interactions. Additionally, students meet monthly for Integration sessions and complete their Clinical hours with ongoing online supervision.

The curriculum is the foundation for further studies, including Ayurvedic Practitioner, Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy or a Masters Degree in Ayurveda.
