LEVEL ONE
Part One and Two
Level 1 provides a complete introduction and immersion into the classical Vidya of Jyotish. The program is designed to be both thorough and yet fast moving to enable students to become profi cient practitioners of Jyotish. Students will learn to read charts with accuracy and gain real, time-tested and applicable methods for success in Vedic chart interpretation.
Students will explore in depth: The Vedic Tradition, Understanding Karma, Astronomical and Astrological Basics, Chart Analysis/Interpretation Basics, and Methods for Study/Preparation. Beginners as well as those already versed in Jyotish are welcome. Level One is a pre-requisite for all higher levels of study.
This Level One Program takes place over two full weekends: September 14-16 and October 12-14, 2018
Participants must arrange for housing for each weekend individually.
Total cost is $770 — includes tuition for both Part One and Part Two.

Steven Highburger
Steven Highburger has been deeply immersed in Vedic Studies since the 90’s and is a teacher of Vedic Astrology, Ayurveda, Hasta, Vastu and Sanskrit. Steven studied intensively with the world renowned master of Vedic Traditions, Hart deFouw, and also received the highest level of certification from the American College of Vedic Astrology (A.C.V.A.) and is currently a certified teacher and tutor for A.C.V.A. Steven is a graduate of the Ayurvedic Institute of New Mexico where he spent four years studying classical Ayurveda under the direction of Dr. Vasant Lad. Program Notes
- A deposit of $200 is required with registration. Balance is due upon arrival.
- CANCELLATION or CHANGE in REGISTRATION
Deposits are non-refundable and are not transferable to another person. For cancellations received at least 2 weeks before the program starts, the deposit less a $50 fee will be credited to any other program within one year. No credit is available for cancellations less than two weeks prior to the program start date, for no-shows, or for leaving an event early. Housing changes incur a $20 change fee. - Registration check-in for this program is from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
- Dinner is served from 5:30-6:30 pm on Friday and 5:00-6:00 pm on other days.
- If you will be arriving late, please ask us to save a dinner for you.
- Orientation begins at 1:30 pm.
- The program will end at 4:00 pm on the final scheduled day.
