Step behind the scenes at our Ayurveda World Herbal Dispensary and learn the art of herbal product making! We will make a wide variety of herbal remedies such as teas, culinary spices, herbal oils, ghee, salves, lotions and body care products in a series of 4 Sunday workshops from 10-5 pm.

A great opportunity for holiday gifts!

This “hands on” workshop begins each Sunday at 10 am at Ayurveda World at Mount Madonna Center, and includes lunch.

Jackie Christensen, PhD

Jackie Christensen, Ph.D., has a passion for herbology and
education. She has served as a faculty member for many prestigious
colleges where she trained students to become nutritional consultants,
master herbalists, and holistic health practitioners.

Jackie is also an ayurvedic practitioner and currently has a private
practice in Santa Cruz.

Program Notes

  • A deposit of $100 is required with registration. Balance is due upon arrival.
  • Deposits are non-refundable and are not transferable to another person. For cancellations received at least 2 weeks before the program starts, the deposit less a $50 fee will be credited to any other program within one year. No credit is available for cancellations less than two weeks prior to the program start date, for no-shows, or for leaving an event early. Housing changes incur a $20 change fee.
  • Registration check-in for this program is from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.
  • Dinner is served from 5:30-6:30 pm on Friday and 5:00-6:00 pm on other days.
  • If you will be arriving late, please ask us to save a dinner for you.
  • Orientation begins at 10:00 am.
  • The program will end at 5:00 pm on the final scheduled day.
