Mini courses are the perfect introduction to Ayurveda or an opportunity to dive deeper into a specific subject. For beginners, we offer a free Ayurveda: The Basics online class. Advanced learners can try a weekend of the Practitioner level courses (online or in-person).

Get a good taste of Ayurveda with our Foundations program. Commit to the first three months of our Ayurvedic Educator program and dive into the basic principles, diet and lifestyle choices and yoga. Online classes once a month.

Become an Ayurveda Educator within 6 months through monthly online classes. Learn to educate your clients on appropriate diet and lifestyle choices. This is a perfect complement to someone who is already in the healthcare field. (No clinical work required.)
Learn MoreAyurvedic Health Counselor
Study foundational principles and theory, diagnosis, & clinical application of this ancient science. Spend the first 6 months in online classes and over the next 6 months, integrate your knowledge with two 10-day practicums with clinical experience. This training focuses on preventative mind-body healthcare and makes you eligible to take the test and become a board-certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor in the United States through the National Certification Board (NAMACB).

This program includes two 10-day in-person practicums on our beautiful mountain campus, plus monthly online integration sessions and clinical follow up hours. The AHC Practicums program is open to students who have completed a minimum of 378 hours in Ayurvedic Foundational studies (upon transcript approval).

Deepen your knowledge as you study to become an Ayurvedic Practitioner (AP). This professional training focuses on both lifestyle medicine & clinical disease management, with a scope of practice well beyond that of the Ayurvedic Health Counselor. If you have a BA or a BS degree, you are eligible to apply for the MA program and earn an AP along the way.

Ayurveda Mini-Course | Ayurvedic Psychology
This course introduces the student to the energetics of consciousness, the Ayurvedic description of the mind, and therapies to support the mind. Fundamental concepts of manas, prakruti and vikruti, the effects of sensory input on the mind, and approaches to managing mental health are explored.

Ayurveda Mini-Course | Women’s Health, Pre & Post Natal, Pediatrics
This course introduces students to the foundations of women’s health including fertility, menstrual cycle and menopause, offering recommendations to support imbalances. The course also covers Ayurvedic recommendations for supporting healthy conception, prenatal and postnatal care for expectant mothers, and care for young children.
