College of Āyurveda

Thank you for your interest in Mount Madonna Institute College of Āyurveda. We are currently accepting applications for all programs listed below. The next Āyurvedic Health Counselor (AHC) and Certificate- Āyurvedic Practitioner (C-AP) programs begin in 2022. The next Master of Arts degree in Āyurveda (MA-Ay) begins September 2023.

Diploma – Āyurvedic Health Counselor

Admissions Requirements:

Prerequisite:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 4 college level credits of Anatomy and Physiology

Recommended:

Certificate – Āyurvedic Practitioner

Admissions Requirements:

Prerequisite:

  • High school graduation or equivalent required.
  • Successful completion of the Ayurvedic Health Counselor (AHC) program required.
  • If the AHC was completed elsewhere, student must pass the NAMA AHC National Exam.
  • MMI AHC graduates from 2019 or earlier must take the current MMI AHC Exam, or pass the NAMA AHC Exam.
  • 6 college level credits of college level Anatomy & Physiology

Recommended:

  • BA or BS from an accredited institution
  • NAMA AHC Professional Membership

Master of Arts-Āyurveda Degree Program

Admissions Requirements:

Prerequisite:

  • BA or BS from a regionally accredited institution, minimum of 3.0 GPA.
  • If the degree was completed in another country, documentation that the institution offers degree programs equivalent to those approved by the U.S. Department of Education must be provided.
  • Successful completion of the Certificate – Ayurvedic Practitioner (C-AP) program required.
  • If the C-AP was completed elsewhere, student must pass the NAMA AP National Exam.
  • MMI C-AP graduates from 2020 or earlier must take the current MMI AP Exam, or pass the NAMA AP Exam.
  • 6 college level credits of Anatomy & Physiology.

After completion of all required documents, applicants will be interviewed virtually.
