Signature Trainings since 1978

Our signature 200 and 300 hour teacher trainings are approved by the National Yoga Registry, The Yoga Alliance, and are led by an extensive faculty; many of whom have been practicing, studying, and teaching yoga at Mount Madonna for over 25 years.

We cover a broad range of yoga theory, philosophy, and practice, with particular emphasis on the traditional eight limbed (Aṣhțāṅga) yoga system as described in Patañjali's Yoga Sūtras.

The Yoga Teacher Training 200 Hour program is designed to delve deeply into Yoga as explained in the traditional Yoga Scriptures. Classically, Aṣhțāṅga Yoga means eight-limbed Yoga, we will address each limb and will teach āsanas from the Hatha Yoga system (referenced in the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, Gherand Samita, and other Hatha yoga scriptures) as shared with us by our teacher, Baba Hari Dass.
