Originating in the ancient Vedic scriptures of India, the wisdom and practical health training of Ayurveda is a holistic compliment to western medicine for maintaining and achieving health on the levels of mind, body and spirit.

Initial consultations take an hour and consist of a brief explanation of Ayurveda, detailed history taking to get a clear idea of the causative factors involved, focused Ayurvedic evaluation of pulse, tongue, eyes, skin and nails, evaluation of Ayurvedic Mind-Body Type (Prakruti) and imbalances (Vikruti) and an Ayurvedic Plan of Diet, Health Routine, Herbs, Yoga, Pranayama & Meditation. And Director of Lotus Holistic Health Institute, is one of the earliest American-trained practitioners of Ayurveda (since 1982). Trained by renowned 8th generation Vaidya Dr. R. P. Trivedi in over 2,000 hours in the US and India, and a Practitioner since 1982, she is a compassionate and skillful master of pulse reading, holistic assessment, Ayurvedic herbal remedies and nutritional counseling. She is Dean of Mount Madonna Institute College of Ayurveda and a Founding Board Member of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association.
