Withdrawal, Dropout, and Refund Policy

A student has the right to cancel the enrollment agreement and obtain a refund of charges paid through attendance at the first class session, or the seventh day after enrollment, whichever is later. Thereafter, a student withdrawing may receive a pro-rata refund of the unused portion of the tuition, if the student has completed 75% or less of the instruction. No refunds are available after 75% of a program/class has been completed.

If a student withdraws before the beginning of the course, any payment made and any negotiable instrument signed shall be returned within 30 days following the Institute’s receipt of the Cancellation Notice, less any non-refundable fees.

The tuition refund formula is as follows:
Tuition paid minus the Registration Fee (and any other applicable fees) divided by total hours of program times hours unused = Refund Hours of instruction unused.

Example:
Percentage of Refund (based on $1,640 tuition for the Yoga Teacher Training 200-hour program.)

20 Refund Hours: 10% = $165
50 Refund Hours: 25% = $410
100 Refund Hours: 50% = $820
120 Refund Hours: 60% = $984

For the purpose of determining a refund, a student shall be deemed to have withdrawn when any of the following occurs: The student notifies the institution of the student’s withdrawal or of the date of the student’s withdrawal, whichever is later. The institution terminates the student’s enrollment as provided in the agreement. Dropout Policy: the student has failed to attend classes for a two-month period (has dropped out). The date of the student’s withdrawal shall be deemed the last date of recorded attendance. For the purpose of determining when the refund must be paid, the student shall be deemed to have withdrawn at the end of the two-month period.
