Ayurvedic Lifestyle Counselor - Diploma
(21 credits / 308 hrs) This 7 month program prepares the student for a career as an Ayurvedic Lifestyle Counselor, integrating body/mind assessment, nutrition, use of herbs, and lifestyle counseling. Graduates of the Diploma Program may practice independently as Ayurvedic Lifestyle Counselors under the provisions and conditions of the California Health Freedom Act, join the staffs of Yoga studios or spas, or become licensed as massage therapists and work in health resorts. The Diploma is a prerequisite for the Certificate – Ayurvedic Practitioner Program, a 74 credit certificate program featuring on-site, supervised clinical internship in Ayurvedic Medicine ending in certification as an Ayurvedic Practitioner.
Prerequisite: High School graduation or equivalent.
